For printed books we primarily use print on demand (PoD) where books
are printed and shipped only as and when they are ordered.
Our marketing, communication and ordering are based around digital methods,
minimising paper waste and maximising efficiency.
In the near-future we shall be producing e-books with appropriate digital
rights management for paper-free delivery of products.
We believe in effective communication of ideas to people. This not only
refers to our customers – the readership – but also to you,
the author.
When we publish a book, we are doing something we believe in, and something
we enjoy: communicating to others about interaction design. It’s
not just nine to five – it’s eat, sleep, and breathe interaction
design. We firmly believe in practising good design, too. This means that
your book will be aesthetically pleasing and easy to read.
